Laverton Cold Storage is a family-run business which was first established in 1975. Our initial location was in North Geelong, where we operated a 4000-pallet warehouse. Over subsequent years we introduced blast freezing services and extra capacity.

After 37 years in business, we made the move to metropolitan Melbourne where we acquired a 5000-pallet temperature-controlled warehouse at Cherry Lane, Laverton North. As more and more clients became aware of our premium cold storage and blast freezing services, it became apparent that we needed further capacity.

In November 2015, construction of our state-of-the-art warehouse was completed at Foundation Road, Truganina. This 20,000-pallet Melbourne refrigerated storage facility has allowed us to further expand our operation and evolve our cold storage services, to the benefit of clients.

Our management team has been involved in warehousing and the food industry for more than 35 years. Our Melbourne cold storage warehouse is ideally located to service the needs of Melbourne and those that require the use of the nearby Port of Melbourne.

We strive to continually improve and provide the best possible service. We hold accreditations from Food Hygiene Australia, the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, and the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service. Laverton Cold Storage is also fully compliant with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and quality accredited, and frequently deals with internationally exported or imported products from European countries as well as Japan, Republic of Korea, Russia, Canada and the USA.
